Speed Sculpting 03- Character head 02

By June 24, 2011No Comments

So here’s an example from the ground up on how a character head is created inside ZBrush. You start the basic mesh by fleshing some key features out using Z Spheres. From there you turn it into an actual mesh and up the resolution to build the details. I just learned how to import image planes in ZBrush so I can work with an actual character drawing as reference instead of just creating it as I go along which is equally as fun. But I’m going to challenge myself to see how close I can get one of these characters to look like one of my character drawings. Enjoy! And don’t for get to press the “Like” button to support your local artist!

Here’s a screen grab.. . .
