So if you’re an artist that uses a tablet and a computer, chances are you know about Alias’s very affordable software Sketchbook Pro. This program is amazingly similar to an actual pencil and it’s the first program that I use when starting a new character. The basic brush settings that start you off are quite usable and may be all you need. But I felt there were just a couple of things about the opacity and the width of the brush that I needed to tweak in order to compliment the pressure that I apply to the tablet. So here’s a peak at my brush properties. I really think this takes the #2B pencil and puts it where it needs to be.
Have any custom settings or suggestions you wish to share? I’d love to hear about them!
